Yvonne travelled to Marrakech also in June this year and had a mesmerising time ! This destination has fantastic hotels & Riads with great facilities and wonderful Moroccan Cuisine... She sampled so many lovely dishes. If you like to bargain the head to the Souks and pick up spices, local leather products or rugs, an interesting experience. Marrakech is a great winter sun destination and also very popular is doing a 2 centre holiday combining the bustling city with the beautiful Atlas Mountains.. She can't wait to go back again. One of her favourite hotels was the famous La Mamounia which opened in 1923 and has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment, it's out of this world. Another wonderful hotel is the Kasbah Tamadot located in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Sir Richard Branson's magical retreat ! Email

NEILSON BEACH ACTIVE

Julie and her husband and two children aged 7 and 11 years set off on our first Neilson Active Holiday wondering what we were letting ourselves in for. We loved it and are all converts now ! We based ourselves in Sivota, Greece in one of Neilson's Beachplus Clubs, The Retreat, where we dabbled in windsurfing, etc Pilates classes, and of course, a bit lazing by the pool. The children met some lovely friends and did virtually he same activities we would do too, along with some pizza making and arts and crafts to keep them cool out of the sun. All the activities and, more importantly, the tuition are included in the cost of your holiday along with excellent childcare. You can also achieve a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) qualification in sailing and windsurfing and a British Canoeing Union (BCU) qualification in Kayaking, again included in the price of your holiday. The Retreat Hotel is set in a beautiful bay and an ideal setting to learn those new watersports. Food is plentiful and good with daily breakfast and lunch and four evening meals included, giving you the option to venture out to the village and sample the local restaurants. Julie's big decision now is which Neilson resort to go to next ! Email
